and about the sex industry, at the LGBT Community Center David Bohnett Cyber
Center at 208 West 13th Street, New York City, from March 29 – May 20. Visions
kicks off with an opening reception on March 29 from 6 to 9 pm.
Visions is curated by Audacia Ray, Executive Editor of $pread and former
Assistant Curator at the Museum of Sex. Artists include sex activist and
educator Heather Corinna, former SuicideGirl and illustrator Molly Crabapple,
exotic dancer and photographer Charise Isis, and former prostitute and
filmmaker Anne Hanavan, as well as Paul Sarkis and George Pitts’ intimate
portraits of porn stars. Photographs by Erin Siegal and illustrations by Fly
and Cristy Road originally appearing in $pread will also be on display. Sales
will benefit the non-profit magazine.
The March 29 event is also the opening night of the Sex Work Matters conference,
a joint venture of CUNY and the New School (www.sexworkmatters.net). The evening
also marks $pread's one year anniversary, and the Spring issue of the magazine
will be available for sale at the reception.
For opening night only, the exhibit will be completely interactive with a webcam

Okay after much hard work, I've finally gotten it all togehter! All the records are organized, alphabatized, and cross-referenced.
The site is back up and 100% functional, with a couple of brand new photo sets.
I've reauthored two DVDs so that they are compliant with the law.
1.) Dirty Girls XXX -- This is the third variation of Dirty Girls. It has the same two scenes with Kalyx as the first versions, BUT, it has two ENTIRELY NEW scenes and a brand NEW bonus video (a bit of experimental erotic video art). This is the final word on Dirty Girls. There will be no more versions!
2.) Echo's Adult Sampler, vol. 1B -- I had to remove one scene, so I added two EVEN BETTER scenes to make up for it. All the same except a tad bit longer.
So there you have it. NEW AND IMPROVED AND LEGAL! Woot!
That was a lot of work. And in the meantime I lost some money from being shut down. So PLEASE buy a new DVD! I would be ever so grateful! Just a reminder this site is 100% run by me, and about 80% of the money made goes right back into the site. The rest pays one or two bills so I can live.

Well well...
I've gone through my site and double checked for all the proper records for all the images and videos.
You see the new Attorney General has made it his pet project to put tighter restrictions on the small time porn producer.
The Free Speech Coalition has opened a law suit against him because of it:

But for now access to my web site is cut off until I can scan in every single release form and type in every name and alias into my new datbase system, anand cross reference it all to the images and videos themselves and where they are located on the web, as well as scans of the actors' photo IDS.
Whew! Yeah.
This is a week's worth of work for what?
I've lost about 100 images, and a couple of videos becuase of careless record keeping in the past (I'm much better at it now). So now my site will be 101% legal all the way around. Although I was never doing anything illegal. I've never used an underage actor - which is the whole impetus behind these new laws! That's crazy isn't it? Nothing on my site is illegal content, but bcould become illegal because I don't have it all referenced and cross-referenced properly. What a fucking joke!
The kicker is, I can no longer sell my DVDs because I have to REAUTHOR them to include the record keeping info within the first one minute of each disk. THAT is going to take a while. And I may just pull all of them and put together new compilations all in accordance to the statute which is, annoyingly, retroactive to the year 1995!
You should feel lucky if you've already bought my DVDs. They are, for all practical purposes, banned.
Anyway, I'm doing it all right. And I'm begrudgingly complying because I refuse to let them shut me down! I have a right to fuck and let others watch me, damn it!

| Back from a big porno shoot |

So, in case you didn't know I've spent the past two weeks down in the Dominican Republic, at this exclusive adult resort on the ocean.
I was there shooting behind-the-scenes for Porn Week. I shot stuff with Belladonna, Jane Darling, and Angel Dark, and a bunch of other stars, working with Director Garry Grant (who works for Private and Harmony out of Europe, for those who know their porn companies).
Legendary porn director Michael Ninn stopped by to scout locations, so me met a couple of times and we talked briefly.
And best of all, I met a new porno starlet friend, Lacey. Lacey's new to the industry and has the sweet innocent young girl look about her. A fresh face, and a terrific skill to be admired: SHE SQUIRTS!!! We hit it off well. She agreed to do a scene for the site, which will be going up before the end of the month. She may be coming to Chicago soon to shoot a few more scenes, and for those who want to meet her in person, I'm trying to talk her into doing a public appearance!
